We take no sales mandates, handle no negotiations and collect no commission. Our job is to make comparable an offering that is scattered across many different sites, always indicating which portal each listing comes from. When you click a listing that interests you, you arrive at the portal it belongs to, where you find the original page and the advertiser's contact details. The price, description, photographs and availability of the property are set and updated by the advertiser on that portal, which remains the source to check before making contact or arranging a viewing. If a property disappears from the original portal, it stops appearing on our site too.

Every province and every municipality has a page that gathers the listings for that area and describes its market. You find how many properties are for sale or to rent, the median asking price, the price per square metre, the average surface area and number of rooms, the band that half the listings fall into and the most common property types. The same pages also say how many listings come from agencies and how many from private sellers. If the municipal boundaries don't match the area you are actually interested in, you can draw the area on the map and see only the listings inside it. Area pages also list nearby municipalities, so you can widen the search when a single municipality has little on offer.

For sales you can search apartments, penthouses, detached houses, villas, lofts and farmhouses. For rentals there are also rooms and beds, useful for students and people working away from home. Prices follow the type of transaction. For sales you see the asking price and the price per square metre; for rentals the monthly rent. Area statistics are also calculated separately for sales and rentals, because they are two markets with different dynamics and mixing them would make the reference values useless. In both cases you can narrow the search further by price, size, property type and features. Rooms and beds stay out of the sales search, where they would make no sense.

Available are minimum and maximum price, surface area, number of rooms and bathrooms, property type, property condition, floor, energy class, heating type, year built and advertiser type, to distinguish between agency and private seller. There are then feature filters, such as furnished, elevator, balcony, terrace, garage, parking space, cellar, private or communal garden, air conditioning, fibre optic and swimming pool. Filters combine with each other and stay active while you browse the results, so you can narrow things down bit by bit without starting over. Alternatively you can outline the area on the map and see only the listings inside it. Results can also be sorted, for example newest first, to spot new publications straight away. When a filter narrows things too far and few results remain, it is better to remove one at a time rather than clearing them all.

Since the conversation takes place on that portal, its terms of use and privacy policy apply. Be wary of anyone asking for advance payments, deposits or bank transfers before you have visited the property and verified who is replying to you. A price well below the area average, which we flag on the listing page, always deserves an extra check.

If you prefer to stay on the site, you can sort search results newest first and immediately see new publications in the area you are following. Every area page shows the date of the most recently collected listing, so you know how up to date the data you are looking at is.

It helps because house hunting usually takes weeks and runs through dozens of properties scattered across different portals, and having a single list makes it much easier to compare the options you are genuinely considering. Registration is only for this. It is not required to search, filter and browse listings: the site stays open to everyone. A saved listing may be withdrawn or sold by the advertiser on the original portal. In that case the page flags that the property is no longer available and we suggest similar options in the same area, so the selection work you have already done isn't wasted. Favourites stay tied to your account, so you find them again even if you change device or browser.
